What we do
The Electrical Training Trust (ETT) has been established by the local industry since 1997. ETT is the nominated Department for Employment and Learning provider for NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation training in Northern Ireland under the Jobskills and Training for Success Modern Apprenticeship programmes.
ETT fulfils three functions on behalf of the local industry
- The promotion and management on behalf of industry of the JIB Electrical Modern Apprenticeship.
- The organisation and provision of training courses including technical, health and safety, and management training.
- AM2 Skills Testing is conducted on behalf of the Industry at the ETT Test Centre in Ballymena.
