What is AM2?
The AM2 Test must be taken by apprentices who are in their final year of the JIB Apprentice Training Programme and others who wish to use the test to accredit practical experience.
The AM2 is a three-day industry recognised trade test that is controlled by the National Electrotechnical Training (NET) Organisation in conjunction with the Joint Industry Board (JIB) and Summit Skills who are currently the Sector Skills Council for the Electrotechnical Industry.
The AM2 Test centre is based at ETT's headquarters in Ballymena. This is the only NET approved centre in Northern Ireland.
