AM2 - Results, Re-sits and Replacement Certificates
by Aaron McDonald on 06 February 2012

Marking and Results
During each assessment ETT’s AM2 examiner Maurice Torrington completes a test mark sheet for each candidate. This is marked electronically after the assessment has been completed.
Candidates should receive a text message and email notification when their results are ready (between 2 and 5 days after the assessment).
The email will contain a link to the NET administration system, which the candidate must access in order to obtain their results online. A results letter will also be sent out automatically from NET by post.
NET aims to ensure successful candidates receive their AM2 qualification certificate within two weeks of their assessment date, by post to the address indicated at the point of booking.
If contact details for the candidate's employer and/or training contact have been provided to ETT at the point of booking, these named representatives will receive notification of their candidate's results 24-48 hours after the candidate has been notified.
Failure to Qualify
Unsuccessful candidates are those whose results indicate that they have ‘failed to achieve the required standard’ in one or more sections.
In this case, the candidate is required to re-sit each full section in which they were unsuccessful.
- Queries regarding your results should be made to ETT, NET is unable to assist with enquires regarding results
- Unsuccessful candidates will only be notified of which part/s of the assessment they have failed, and will not receive any more information than this.
- Note that AM2 examiners will not know whether a candidate has passed or failed, and cannot advise at the point of the assessment. This is because the marking system is independent of the assessment centre.
- To book a re-sit of one or more AM2 assessment sections (or the entire assessment) please contact ETT.
Replacement or Duplicate Certificates
All AM2 qualification certificates are sent out 1 to 2 weeks after successful completion of the AM2. If you have not received your AM2 certificate two weeks or more from the date of your assessment, please contact us and lets us know, you should also ensure that you have provided your correct address details.
Any candidates who report that they have not received their AM2 qualification certificate are entitled to request a replacement free of charge up to one month from the date of completion of their assessment. After this period, there is a charge of £34 for replacement certificates.
Duplicate certificates (where the original has been lost or damaged) are also charged at £34.
If you have lost or damaged your certificate and need a duplicate download the form below and return to NET.
