Connect with ETT Online
by Charlotte Bamber on 16 March 2012
With the growth of social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn we have all found ourselves thinking about jumping on the ‘Bandwagon’, without thinking if this medium is right for our target consumer base.
At ETT we have carefully considered and thought about social media and the benefits it could have on our organisation, following this we are now embracing social media as part of our online communication strategy via the mediums of LinkedIn and Twitter. ETT will be using social media to share course information, possible jobs opportunities, new blogs and ETT news directly to you.
LinkedIn is a business to business online network which allows you to directly communicate with existing and potential clients and online professional network. You can create a profile for your business and for indivdual staff members.
Linkedin is a great way to -
1. Establish your professional profile
2. Stay in touch with colleagues and friends
3. Explore opportunities
4. Find experts and ideas
Within Twitter you can speak to your followers in 140 characters using text, hash tags (#), mentions (@) and web links. ETT shall make use of Twitter to monitor and evaluate how our offering is being received by our customers who ultimately provide us with the opportunity to react to what they are saying about our business and services in real time.
If you haven’t already done so, maybe it is time you consider how to make use of these free marketing tools. If you have a LinkedIn or Twitter account why not connect or follow ETT.
