Adrian Kearney

Adrian Kearney is a Chartered Arbitrator, Expert Witness, Mediator and Registered Adjudicator in both domestic disputes (UK and Ireland) and International disputes. He has received Appointments as Arbitrator and Adjudicator in many Disputes of various levels in construction and civil engineering, with many cases leading to published awards. Appointments are both private and panel, under JCT, ICE and International Forms within the Commonwealth Jurisdiction. 

His experience covers all types of civil engineering and construction works, including medium to large building works, roads, airfield, power generation plants, buildings, minor works etc… He founded Adrian Kearney Associates in 1995 which was incorporated in 2000 to Kearney Consulting Ltd and is now trading as Kearney Consult. He has been an expert witness in cases relating to final accounts, claims for loss and expense, prolongation, delay and disruption, extension of time defects, dilapidation and construction defect. He also has experience in working as a specialist Health and Safety consultant on projects in NI as Health and Safety Co-ordinator and has assisted clients in health and safety compliance.

Adrian has been a Consultant Lecturer with many organisations including; Queens University, University of Ulster, SBIM London and CITB NI. He is published in bimonthly construction magazine Specify and features in periodicals Construction Manager and Institute of Building Control Magazine. He has lectured extensively in UK, South Africa and West Indies.

Adrian is the proud owner of a Harley Davidson motorbike and enjoys scuba diving in his free time.
