Maurice Torrington
AM2 Centre Manager
Maurice has been with ETT since 1997. He holds a wealth of practical knowledge, having himself trained as an apprentice electrician, before gaining real-world experience working as a professional electrician and as an Electrical Estimator Maintenance Electrician.
Maurice fulfils the role of AM2 Centre Manager for ETT. As such, his key responsibilities are: to invigilate the AM2 Tests; order all appropriate materials; to maintain the AM2 booths to the required standard; and to liaise with the AM2 awarding body.
A resident of Ballymena, Maurice’s interests include motorsport. A little known fact about him is that he was a member of pipe band that twice won the world championship.

Two electrical apprentices, Karl Baine and Aodhan McCaffrey, sat their multi-choice online test and then completed the practical sections of the exam over a three day period.
