Theo Duffy

Theo joined ETT in 2008 and works as a Trainer delivering a range of health and safety courses. He takes particular pride in ensuring that the courses he provides are relevant and enjoyable.

Prior to this, he had spent twenty years in the construction industry, mainly in quarry management and was involved with the manufacture of concrete, concrete products and aggregates. More recently he worked as a Health & Safety Consultant and Trainer.

Theo has run a number of half marathons and 10km races and spent a week in the Sahara completing a 100km walk as a fundraiser for Mencap.  He has also completed a number of 200km maracycles for charity.

Break Your Bad Habits

Last week was a busy week for ETT on the training front, on Thursday we had a CSR Course while on Friday a Working at Heights Course took place.

I often ask participants to change after a training course. To re-evaluate their work methods and "fix" a bad habit, as it's often a bad habit that leads to an accident, or worse, a fatality.
