Training the next generation
27 April 2012
We have managed employer led electrical apprenticeship training since 1998.
Over 2000 apprentices have now qualified and meet the National electrical installation standards. The apprenticeship training programme is overseen by a voluntary Board of Employers. The Board meet throughout the year to determine entry criterion and ensure that the quality and safety of apprentices is taken seriously. ETT is the only DELNI, ETI Grade 2 approved organisation for NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Apprenticeship Training in NI.
Recruitment and training of apprentices in all sectors has taken a severe dip in recent years. In some sectors a drop of 75 % has occurred. The future supply of good quality and appropriately qualified people for the electrical sector depends on demand from the industry. ETT will provide you with a five step recruitment service. We will identify productive, qualified, and committed people on your behalf. If you can provide an apprenticeship opportunity, we can help provide a job ready apprentice.
For more information on applying to become an apprentice or if you would like to recruit an apprentice contact a member of our customer advisor team on (028)2565 0750 or email info@ett-ni.org
