This 3 hour technical seminar has been developed to provide a concise overview of the latest changes to BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations – IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition following the release of Amendment 2 on 28th March 2022.

Who should attend?

This seminar is suitable for those who design, install, commission or maintain low-voltage electrical installations and who need to better understand the impact and implications of Amendment 2:2022.  It will also be of benefit to those with an existing understanding of BS 7671:2018 including allied trades as well as trade related professionals such as contract managers, installation designers, consultants, specifiers and surveyors.

What’s covered?

This seminar has been designed to give you clear, concise and up to date guidance to help you to identify the significant and most notable changes to BS 7671 with the introduction of Amendment 2.  It is important to note that this is not full wiring regulations course.

BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 topics will include the requirement for Arc Fault Detection Devices (AFDD’s), RCDs & risk assessments, a new method for determining the requirement to provide over-voltage protection SPDs, labelling and testing and certification.
