About The Course

Course Overview

Our 1 day course has been designed for experienced candidates working within the electrotechnical industry who have completed their 17th Edition (Inc. the 3rd amendment) qualification.

This course is theory based and will provide candidates with the underpinning knowledge and understanding of the key aspects of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671:2018. You won’t learn every regulation in the book, instead you will learn how to reference the regulations as you would on the job.

On completion of this course, candidates will be required to sit the same full 2 hour examination as candidates sitting the 2 day course, this will be an open book multiple choice examination on the full content of the regulations.

To complete the training, you will need to have either a PC or laptop with a webcam and be able to download GoToTraining software prior to the course commencing. Step by step guidance on how to access the training will be provided to you.

The course covers key aspects of the 18th Edition wiring regulations to enable you to be able to reference your regulations books as you would in real life when faced with a variety of situations. The course includes practice exams at the end to prepare you for the real exam which is taken in our Centre.

Online Live Classroom

With ETT, it is now possible to prepare for the C&G 18th Edition of BS7671 in the comfort and safety of your home or office.  Online learning, especially when its live and interactive, is the safest way to overcome the restrictions and risks that COVID 19 has imposed upon learners who need to keep up to date with industry standards.  While there is a place for pre-recorded webinars, we believe that joining other learners in a secure training environment is a more effective way of getting to grips with complex technical subjects.  Live online training provides learners with an opportunity to listen, share and engage in the experiences, feedback and questions of other learners, while working towards achieving an industry approved qualification.
