Apprenticeships NI Level 3 Programme

Course Duration: 4 Years

ETT's ApprenticeshipsNI Level 3 programme is the industry's recognised route to becoming a qualified electrician.
We are the only organisation approved to provide the ApprenticeshipsNI Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Technology (2357).  We have been training electricians since 1997 and have helped over 2000 apprentices become fully qualified.  If you think you have what it takes register now.

Entry Criteria

ETT’s employer led apprenticeship programme is open to all regardless of ethnicity, gender, religious belief, marital status, sexual orientation or disability.

To join the apprenticeship programme, you must meet the following minimum essential criteria:

  • You must be at least 16 years of age and have reached the official school leaving age
  • Reside in Northern Ireland and have a minimum of 16 GCSE points, including GCSE Grade C qualifications in English and Maths

Points are calculated as follows:

Grade A = 10 Points
 
Grade B = 8 Points
 
Grade C = 6 Points
 
Grade D = 4 Points
 
Grade E = 2 Points

  • Be physically fit, free from colour blindness, able to work at heights and in confined spaces (written verification will be required from your Doctor and Optician)
  • Be in full-time paid employment with a suitable Northern Ireland registered electrical contracting employer (ETT will help you find a suitable employer upon registration)

Please note: The above criteria is the minimum required to gain entry onto the programme.  Employers may set additional essential and desirable criteria that are specific to their recruitment needs and job requirements.
