Programme Structure (theory)
- Theory – The fire alarm theory assessment is a paper based multiple choice assessment. The emergency lighting assessment is a paper based, multiple choice paper assessment. (the assessment is open book).
- Practical assessment- Includes carrying out the inspection and fault finding on a two-zone fire alarm panel.
Programme Requirements
Although there are no formal prerequisites, it is expected that candidates will have previous cable installation experience of similar systems and a knowledge of electrical theory principles.
