WorldSkills International competition gets underway in Shanghai!

Tomorrow marks an incredible moment as the WorldSkills International competition gets underway in Shanghai. Everyone at ETT NI is incredibly proud to see Johnny Gough representing Team UK.

Johnny’s journey is a brilliant example of where skills, determination and hard work can take you. After years of training and preparation with WorldSkills UK, he now has the opportunity to showcase his talent on the world stage.

The timing fits perfectly. Today, we welcomed out new first year apprentices, and we’ve been sharing Johnny’s story to show them what can be achieved when you commit to your craft, embrace opportunities and keep pushing yourself. So a massive shout out from everyone at ETT and our new apprentices!

Whatever happens in the competition, reaching this stage is already an achievement worth celebrating.
